My Office Space

I used to laugh at the movie Office Space, I thought it was hilarous... until I lived it. I swear, my job IS straight out of the movie Office Space. If only my cubicle didn't face the wall, maybe I could unscrew the pieces and let it fall apart like Peter does in the movie. But seriously, from the TPS reports (ours are actually called SOP's), to the "themed shirt Friday's" and even the gigantic cake once a month to celebrate all the bday's/anniversary's... "Pass the cake Melvin" - poor guy. Just in case you have no clue what I'm talking about, here's a clip from the movie for you to check out!!!!

BAD hair day!

So we found a new groomer the other day... Kujeaux had his first appointment on Thursday, and when I went to drop him off they asked me what guard to use... NOT A CLUE! Well, needless to say I guessed wrong!

 

Lesson #1...

... we actually live in a small town called Ramsey, but our address in Covington... interesting! So as soon as you get into our lovely town, you will come across our town hall, pictured below!





Grocery and town hall huh??? So when you leave your civil duties at the town hall meeting, make sure to pick up some live bait & boudin for the ride home!!!

Kona Grill

So Thursday night a bunch of us from The Moran Group went to Kona Grill for Happy Hour! This would be my last outing with the TMG gang... VERY SAD :-(

TMG is a great place to work, the owners are fantastic, and I truly worked with some amazing people - my favorite 4 are pictured below (from R to L: Sandy, Misty, Kris, and Blain) Also not pictured, Sarah - who left TMG about a month ago, but had "other plans" that night... It's ok - we still love ya Sarah!!!


After supper, we got this massive brownie & ice cream to split. Kris decided it would be a good idea to try and do the spoon trick - I already know I can't do it, so I decided to attempt to caputre the moment with pictures... Obviously my camera phone is NOT cut out for night time pictures, but hey - I tried!!!
